OCEANSIDE INNConversion completed June 2004. The developer has done very substantial remodeling of the property. All walls were gutted. The developer got rid of the balconies, and extended the walls to the balcony lines. Now it is all glass floor to ceiling. Though some people like balconies, there are definite advantages of not having them:no need to replace the concrete on the balconies (the most single costly maintenance item that could run you thousands and thousands of dollars in special assessment) reduced liability insurance (you can't fall out of the balcony even after a 8-pack of beer) terrific view, as you have a dramatic floor-to-ceiling glass better insulation, so your maintenance should be less better for your health.
